LG Electronics, a global manufacturer in the field of communications and information technology, has been the exclusive hardware sponsor of the Microsoft Open Door 2010 Conference held recently in Amman. The conference, organised by Microsoft, shed light on new technology that combines the Internet, information centres, mobile phones, and the traditional computer features. It also tackled the latest developments regarding cloud computing and the possibilities of replacing previous applications. TRS Learning Centre introduces globally recognised language learning software
TRS (Think, Read, Speak) Learning Centre has recently introduced a globally recognised interactive learning language software that teaches students both children and adults 25 languages, covering 90 per cent of the world’s spoken languages. Seema Tabbaa, co-owner of TRS Learning Centre, stated: “Our students really enjoy the freedom to study during their free time, and the ability to access the programme from home. The biggest value of the learning software is in the breadth of the languages offered, particularly less common options in our part of the world.” The newly launched interactive language solution engages children and adults through utilising features such as speech recognition technologies, the use of images and sounds which improves memory, and independent learning, speaking and pronunciation exercises.
