CSC has been named by HPC in the Cloud as the “2010 Enterprise Cloud Leader” in their first annual Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards, presented at the 2010 Cloud Expo in Santa Clara, CA.
CSC was selected based on the growing interest in its full-range of cloud solutions for enterprise users.
As a business-cloud provider with a business-first approach, and full lifecycle of cloud services, the editors noted CSC’s ability to guide customers to select the right cloud solution based on individual enterprise needs. The CSC project to migrate the City of Los Angeles to Google Apps, in addition to other case studies for large scale implementation projects, was cited as the reason for the selection of CSC to receive the award.
“We’re making great strides with our enterprise cloud offerings and it is very fulfilling to know that the hard work we are putting into providing clients with a full-lifecycle of solutions is being recognized by a leading-edge publication like HPC in the Cloud,” said Siki Giunta, vice president, Cloud Computing and Software Services, CSC.
HPC in the Cloud, published by Tabor Communications, is a portal dedicated to covering enterprise and scientific high performance computing (HPC) in the cloud, and is written to provide the most accurate and current information on developments happening in the specific point where Cloud Computing and HPC intersect. In its first year, the HPC in the Cloud Editors’ Choice Awards is determined through a rigorous selection process involving the publications editors and industry luminaries to determine the leaders in the extreme-scale leading-edge of cloud computing.
CSC is a Company focused in providing technology-enabled solutions and services through three primary lines of business. These include Business Solutions and Services, the Managed Services Sector and the North American Public Sector.
